ASICS and Japanese retailer mita sneakers have teamed up to create a special edition Gel Lyte 3 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic retro runner. The sneaker, designed by Shigeyuki Mitsui (lead designer of the original Gel Lyte 3) and mita sneakers’ creative director Shigeyuki Kunii, features a white base with a contrasting red toe and zippered detailing on the tongue. ASICS’ signature side stripes appear in blue and red tones on the medial side. This limited edition sneaker is sure to be a hit with collectors and fans of the Gel Lyte 3 alike.
